Sikorski: Kyiv gives up, Europe retreates

Official Kyiv and the European Union were subject to the argument of force from terrorists in eastern Ukraine.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said during the opening ceremony of the new building of the Polish Consulate in London, Polish Radio informs.
“Obviously, Kyiv surrendered because it wanted to return both regions, as it had a right for this, but could not do it because of the Russian invasion. The EU also retreated, as a few months ago there argued that the issue of the Association Agreement with Ukraine is bilateral in nature,” Sikorski said.
He said the postponement of the Free Trade Agreement for more than a year does not mean that Ukrainians have a reason to slow down on the reforms of the economy, but vice versa – they should make more efforts for the economy to be ready for the elimination of duties and become more competitive.
