ATO Press Center reports thar in the night of Wednesday on June 9-10, 2015, Russian terrorists shelled Ukrainian army positions more than 20 times.
“The night in the ATO zone was turbulent. More than 20 shelling of Ukrainian positions were registered. By midnight it was the hottest in Artemovsk direction,” ATO Press Center.
The Kurdiumivka village was shelled twice from powerful artillery of 152 mm caliber. The ATO positions in Kirove, Losove, Zolote and Nelipovka were shelled from mortars of different caliber, grenade launchers, small arms.
Late at night the shooting out of ATO positions near Shyrokyne was performed from 122 mm and 152 mm artillery.
“The enemy’s 122 mm artillery shells were falling to the Ukrainian positions near Vodiane. After midnight the pro-Russian fighters became active near Luhansk. Trekhizbenka was shelled twice from the 152 mm artillery, and Novotoshkivske was shot out from “Grads”. Marinka was also shelled in the night from 120 mm mortars,” ATO Press Center.
The same artillery was used by Russian terrorists in the region of Artemivsk to shell the positions of the Ukrainian troops near Popasna, Stepne, Novozvanivka.
In the early night hours the Russia-backed terorrists were firing from small arms and grenade launchers near Shyrokyne.
More than ten drone flights were registered.
