The situation in the conflict zone in Donbas remains difficult as Russian-terrorist forces continue to flagrantly violate the terms of a ceasefire, firing on the positions of Ukrainian forces.
Information Resistance group leader Dmytro Tymchuk reported this on his Facebook page.
“In particular, the positions of Ukrainian troops at the Donetsk airport were shelled three times last night. The shelling was carried out with mortars. BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers were used to shell the positions of security forces near the settlement of Verkhnia Krynka. The shelling was carried out from the direction of the settlement of Khartsyzk,” reads the report.
A checkpoint near Maloorlivka came under mortar fire and a stronghold near Krasnohorivka came under artillery fire.
Ukrainian troops are fortifying the defense, restoring the combat effectiveness of units, and preparing to repel further attacks and eliminate sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy.
