Russia deploys 17 Grad rocket launchers near Chernihiv region

Russia is preparing new firing positions to shell Ukraine.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The Russian side is actively preparing firing positions for shelling Ukrainian territory. So, yesterday, near the village of Strativa in the Bryansk region (five kilometers from the border with Ukraine – in front of Chernihiv region), in a wooden area, the positions have been taken by 17 Grad multiple launch rocket systems,” he said.
Lysenko also said that three 152-mm self-propelled artillery vehicles had been deployed opposite the section of the Sumy border detachment, in the Belgorod region of Russia, 15 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
