Provocateurs from DPR, LPR and Transnistria accompany religious march: Tandyt

Provocateurs from the Donetsk and Luhansk People`s Republics (DPR and LPR) and Transnistria were participating in the religious procession of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, Yuriy Tandyt, adviser to the chief of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine, said on Ukrainian TV Channel 5.

”We knew that the provocateurs, who were involved, from DPR/LPR and Transnistria, were moving from Ternopil and Donetsk regions. We warned them gently. We controlled the situation there,” Tandyt stated.

He stressed that the clergy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate was set up constructively.

”We made it clear that we would strictly prevent any attempts to use the ”procession” for any provocative purposes. I would say that we had an understanding from our volunteer battalions and patriotic movements and this situation was proof that people have a really big heart,” Tandyt declared.
