Poroshenko urges Australians to invest in Ukraine

The biggest challenge to Ukraine at this stage is the fight against corruption, and the government has developed a reform program for this purpose.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at a meeting with Australian business representatives, the presidential press service reported.
“These are not political slogans. This is a challenge to the country. We will be unable to survive if we bring no changes to the country,” he said.
He said that a pro-European government formed by Ukraine was set to conduct reforms and completely transform the country.
The head of state and representatives of the Australian energy sector also discussed the diversification of energy supplies to Ukraine.
Poroshenko noted the considerable potential for cooperation between the two countries agriculture and the IT sector.
The president called on Australian businesses to invest in Ukraine.
