Polish gas pipeline operator Gaz-System has resumed reverse gas supplies to Ukraine, the company has reported.
“Gas pipeline operator Gaz-System informs that the current situation in the gas transport system helps transport gas through the Hermanowice point in the direction of Ukraine in accordance with customer needs,” reads the statement.
According to the report, Poland’s gas transport system is “fully balanced,” and gas supplies from the eastern direction are being monitored.
PJSC Ukrtransgaz, the operator of Ukraine’s gas transport system, confirmed this report to Ukrinform. “This report is true. The supply has been resumed,” company spokesman Maksym Biliavsky said.
