Poland’s continuing support of Ukraine’s European aspirations adds forces in countering the external aggressor and implementing internal reforms.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said in his congratulations to President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski on the occasion of the national holiday, the press service of the Ukrainian President informs.
“Continued support by Poland and you personally, Mr. President, of Ukraine’s European integration aspirations gives us power for countering the external aggressor and implementing internal reforms,” Poroshenko said.
The President stressed that Ukraine sincerely rejoices at the success of Poland, which due to national unity, indestructibility of spirit and hard work of its people could pass a difficult way of transformation and become a modern democratic European state.
Poroshenko also expressed conviction that good relations between Ukraine and Poland will further continue in the spirit of strategic partnership, based on mutual respect and trust.
