Netherlands to give Ukraine EUR 400,000 for army

The Netherlands will allocate EUR 400,000 to strengthen the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said this as part of the NATO summit in Wales on Thursday, the press service of the Dutch government reported.
“The Netherlands and Poland will be the lead nations for a trust fund to help strengthen the Ukrainian armed forces. Mr Rutte announced that the Netherlands is making EUR 400,000 available for the fund,” the government said.
Rutte also stressed the need to maintain close ties with Ukraine at the highest level.
