NATO: Russia continues to send troops and weapons into Ukraine

Russia continues to destabilize the situation in eastern Ukraine, sends troops and heavy weapons into Donbas and does not comply with the Minsk agreements.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this before a meeting of the EU foreign ministers (defense) in Brussels on Tuesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“We see that Russia is still destabilizing Ukraine. We see the movement of troops, of equipment, of tanks, of artillery, of advance air defense systems, and this is in violation of the cease fire agreements. We call on Russia to pull back its forces from eastern Ukraine and to respect the Minsk agreements,” he said.
Stoltenberg noted that NATO and the EU were in favor of a peaceful solution to the crisis in Donbas and were providing assistance to the European integration of Ukraine.
