Moskal appointed governor of Luhansk region

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Hennadiy Moskal as chairman of Luhansk Regional State Administration.
A decree to that effect has been posted on the website of the head of state.
As reported, on September 17, the Cabinet of Ministers approved Moskal’s appointment as Luhansk regional governor.
On September 15, Poroshenko dismissed Iryna Verihina as acting head of Luhansk Regional State Administration.
In 2005-2006, Luhansk had already served as chairman of Luhansk Regional State Administration.
