Militants have increased the number of attacks on populated localities in the past 24 hours, with deaths and injuries being reported among the civilian population, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) has reported.
“Bandits have increased the number of attacks on peaceful settlements, which are located near the positions of Ukrainian troops. These provocations are being made to discredit the ATO forces and intimidate the population of Donbas. In particular, bandits shelled the settlements of Orlivka, Verkhnia Krynka, and Kurakhove,” reads the statement.
According to the press center, there are civilians killed and injured as a result of attacks by bandits.
Instead, the ATO forces continue to firmly hold their positions, despite provocations by terrorists, the ATO headquarters reported.
