Militants have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation forces 56 times over the past 24 hours, using different types of weapons, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported.
“The positions of our troops were shelled by militants with artillery and mortars 40 times, with small arms five times, one time using tank weapons and nine times using multiple rocket launchers,” reads the statement.
It notes that the activity of illegal armed groups is preserved in three strategic directions: Luhansk, Donetsk and Debaltseve.
