A cannonade could be heard in Makiyivka in Donetsk region last night. Two residents of the town sustained fragmentation wounds, the press service of the local administration has reported.
“Residential houses, a high-voltage power line and transformer substations were damaged as a result of artillery shelling,” reads the statement.
The village of Obiednane, the Hirnytsky district of Makiyivka and the Chervona Zirka housing estate were hardest affected by the shelling.
The victims were taken to the town hospital.
