Ukrainian military were fired more than 1,000 times during the announcement of the ceasefire.
Head of the Center of Military and Political Studies Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on Facebook.
“Total number of firing on positions of Ukrainian troops by Russian-terrorist forces exceeded 1,000 since the bilateral ceasefire was announced,” he wrote.
Tymchuk also noted that over the past day, terrorists made more than 40 attacks on the Ukrainian troops: – units in area of settlements of Shchastia, Sanzhanivka, Ridkodub, Chornukhine, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka were two times subjected to bombardment; shelling was carried out three times and attempts were made two times to assault the checkpoint near the settlement of Maloorlivka; positions near Tonenke were shelled four times of cannon and rocket artillery; blows were dealt five times on a stronghold in the vicinity of Nikishyne.
Militants also attacked ATO positions near Smilyve, Novobakhmutivka, Starohnativka, Debaltseve, Kamianka and the airport Donetsk.
