Over the past 24 hours militants have fired twice at the new terminal of the Donetsk airport from the side of a monastery.
Anti-terrorist operation spokesman Leonid Matiukhin reported this in his review of events early on December 22.
“Terrorists fired twice at the new terminal of the Donetsk airport with small arms. It should be mentioned that the Ukrainian military were fired at from the monastery side,” he said.
He said that Ukrainian military, who are observing a silence mode, had not responded to provocations.
