Medvedev phones Yatseniuk

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has held a telephone conversation with newly appointed Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk.
The press service of the Russian government reported this on Thursday, according to TASS.
“Medvedev and Yatseniuk discussed financial and economic cooperation between the two countries,” the report says.
On November 27, the new Ukrainian parliament supported Yatseniuk’s candidacy for the post of Ukrainian prime minister. A total of 341 MPs voted for such a decision. Yatseniuk earlier served as prime minister from February 27, 2014.
