Head of NGO “Ukrainian choice” Viktor Medvedchuk has met with the leaders of terrorist organizations “DPR” and “LPR”, spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has announced, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Peskov, the meeting has a nature of “prior consultations before the forthcoming talks in Minsk format.”
Medvedchuk met with Oleksandr Zakharchenko and Ihor Plotnytsky in Donetsk. The “consultations” were also attended by representatives of the terrorists , who were present at the talks in Minsk, Denys Pushylin and Vladyslav Deineho.
“Moscow regrets that representatives of Ukrainian military and advisor to the President of Ukraine Ruslan Demchenko, who earlier planned to participate in the consultations, changed their decision at the last moment and did not come to negotiate,” Peskov added.
