Kyiv administration finds a new home for demolished Soviet monuments

The Communist past reminders will be put in a museum at Zhulyany International Airport, Ukraine Today reports.
The statues and memorabilia that were removed from Kyiv streets will now be stored at one of the lots at Zhulyany international airport, according to Ukraine Today.
Dmytro Bilotserkivets with the Kyiv City Administration says since the reminders of the communist era were not damaged, it`s only right to keep them in a museum-style facility.
Therefore, Bilotserkivets says Kyiv residents should follow by example of Poland and the Baltics where the Soviet-era monuments were moved to museums to educate people about the communist regime.
