In Milan Poroshenko urges Putin to release Savchenko – Chaly

At the talks in Milan with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko raised an issue of the release of the Ukrainian Air Force pilot Nadia Savchenko.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly said, the press service of the head of state informs.

“I hope that such an appeal to someone, who can resolve this issue, will bring a result,” Chaly said.

To remind, yesterday, the United States urged Russia to allow representatives of international humanitarian organizations to Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko, illegally detained in Russia, and called for the immediate release of her and Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov from custody.
