”EUR 22 per parcel limit”: Controversial bill on customs limit withdrawn from Finance Ministry

The Association of Information Technology Enterprises of Ukraine (AITEU) has recalled from the finance ministry a bill establishing the customs fee-free limit at EUR 22 per parcel sent to Ukraine, said AITEU Chairman Yuri Perohanych, according to Ukrainian newspaper Ekonomichna Pravda.

”The bill will be finalized. Such rules will be introduced in accordance with the European legislation in the future,” he said.

As reported earlier, the idea to lower the customs limit from the current EUR 150 to EUR 22 was supported by Chairman of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov.
