The Donbas battalion has said that it destroyed a large group of terrorists near Ilovaisk, the battalion’s press service has reported on Facebook.
“The battle for Ilovaisk does not stop! Following the [Sunday] morning’s battle the Donbas and the mechanized infantry company of the 17th and 93rd brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a southern group of terrorists. The Donbas battalion and the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed four fire points of terrorists and over 50 militants,” reads the statement.
The battalion also said that the passage to the south of the town had been opened.
