Deshchytsia confirms Ukraine’s readiness to buy weapons from Poland

Ukraine is ready, if necessary, to buy weapons from Poland.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to Poland, former Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsia said this in an interview to the tvn24.pl television channel.
“No, we currently do not buy weapons from Poland, not yet. If such a need arises, we will do this,” he said.
As reported, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski sees no problems in the sale of weapons to Ukraine. He said that no embargo on arms sales had been imposed on Ukraine and therefore Warsaw “can help with this if Ukraine expresses such a desire.”
