A border guard was killed in a battle with terrorists near Dokuchayevsk in Donetsk region.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriyi Lysenko told a briefing on Saturday.
“Yesterday, at 16.45, near the settlement of Dokuchayevsk in Donetsk region, terrorists opened fire from small arms on the moving column of the State Border Guard Service. Border guards fired back. Militants suffered losses and were forced to flee. Unfortunately, during this battle one border guard was killed,” Lysenko said.
He added that other casualties among Ukrainian military were not recorded over the recent day.
The representative of the NSDCInformation-AnalyticalCenter also informed that during the last day violations of Ukrainian airspace and air reconnaissance were not fixed on the state border.
