Bodies of 24 Ukrainian soldiers found near Ilovaisk

Searchers found bodies of 24 Ukrainian soldiers near Ilovaisk this weekend. Some of the remains were lying in a field next to the wrecked armored vehicles.
The press office of the NGO “Union “National Memory” reports.
“On Saturday, September 13, the remains of 15 soldiers were found, on Sunday, September 14, the bodies of another nine soldiers were found, remains of eight soldiers were lying in the field, next to a broken armors,” a statement reads.
Previously, this group of searchers found the remains of 21 soldiers near Ilovaisk, and another 18 – in the area of ??Saur-Mohyla. All bodies were removed for identification.
Information on the location of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers continues to flow to a search group from different sources, and work in the area of Ilovaisk will continue in the near future.
Ukrainian non-governmental organization “Union “National Memory” conducts search and exhumation of the bodies of soldiers of the Ukrainian Army and law enforcement agencies, killed in the ATO, in order to pass information to their relatives.
