Avakov requests help from Poland for funding weapons

Poland, which has more than others to understand the threat of Russian aggression, could help Ukraine with funding of Polish weapons supplies through establishment of “correct and smooth prices and credits” for these supplies.
This opinion was expressed by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov at the 12th International Special Exhibition “Weapons and Security 2014” in Kyiv, Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
I think that Poland must be less cynical of all Europe and understand more than others the danger of Russian aggression. And to do everything in order that Ukraine was armed in the best way. Helping not only by the very fact of supplies, but, including, the fact of funding these supplies, the fact of ensuring correct and smooth prices and credits, which ensure these supplies,” the Minister said, commenting on possible supply of weapons from Poland during communicating with reporters near the Polish stand.
According to Arsen Avakov, the Ukrainian side has plans about military-technical cooperation with Poland. “We know concretely what we need, by segments, sectors. We know the pluses of products, which are made by Polish defense industry. I think that we will work intensively in this direction,” he noted.
