The US paratroopers will be training three battalions of the National Guard of Ukraine, at the Ukrainian military zone in Yavoriv near the Polish border, Lviv Region, Western Ukraine, for six months.
As US Secretary of State John Kerry underlined ” U.S. training of Ukrainian National Guard units in the western part of Ukraine was fully transparent, defensive, and at the invitation of the Ukrainian government”.
