The brave Ukrainian people’s resistance to a Russian military invasion is still going strong on day 188.
The Russian army is still concentrating its efforts on taking complete control of the Donetsk oblast while retaining the temporarily gained areas of the Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv oblasts in Ukraine.
It strengthens the military formation moving in the direction of Donetsk. Units from the Russian 3rd Army Corps are still being sent into the temporarily held areas in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
Russian occupying forces are still using air and missile assaults to target civilian targets on Ukrainian soil.
There have been no substantial changes to the situation in the Polissya and Volyn directions.
In the Siverskyi direction, Russia fired artillery into the vicinity of the towns of Novovasylivka, Bachivsk, Starykove, Pisky, and Myropilske in the Sumy oblast as well as Hremyach in the Chernihiv oblast.
The Russian Federation is still engaging in hostilities in the Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukraine, in an effort to hold previously seized lines.
Russia used mortars, barrel and rocket artillery to bombard the districts of Dolyna, Adamivka, Kharkiv, Khrestyshcha, Bairak, Oleksandrivka, Mazanivka, Udy, Borshcheva, Velyka Komyshuvaha, Svitlychne, Kostiantynivka, and Ruska Lozova in the direction of Kharkiv. It used aircraft for an attack close to Husarivka.
Russian forces continued to bombard Pryshyb, Husarivka, and Krasnopillia in the direction of Slovyansk with barrel artillery and MLRS.
Russian occuriers attempted to go forward in the direction of Shnurky but were fired at and turned back.
Due to the reorganization of individual units from the Russian Central Military District, the Russian Federation is bolstering the gathering of soldiers in the Kurakhiv direction, which is in the Donetsk direction.
Ukrainian Defense troops engage in positional combat to strengthen their tactical position along the contact line. Their primary efforts are concentrated on setting control stations, anti-aircraft defense installations, ammunition storage facilities, and enemy logistical support systems ablaze.
The Bohorodychne, Sloviansk, Hryhorivka, Spirne, Pereyizne, and Vyimka districts in the Kramatorsk direction suffered fire damage from Russia. Strikes from enemy aircraft were heard close to Hryhorivka and Pryshyb.
Russia opened fire from tanks, barrel artillery, and jet artillery in the vicinity of Bakhmut, Soledar, Bilohorivka, Zaytseve, and Kodema. The Kostiantynivka neighborhood was attacked with rockets by the Russian invaders.
The Russin Federation attempted to advance in the directions of Zaitseve, Vesela Dolyna, and Bakhmut with offensive assaults, but failed and withdrew.
Fighting is still going on as the Russian invaders attempt to seize control of the Kodema town from multiple angles at once.
The Russian Federation launched mortar and artillery strikes in the vicinity of Mariyinka, Vesele, Opytne, and Novomykhayilivka in the direction of Avdiyivka. It attempted to strengthen its tactical position with offensive and assault operations in the direction of Opytnye Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske, and Krasnohorivka, but it incurred heavy losses and withdrew.
The Russian army shelled Ukrainian areas close to Pavlivka, Prechystivka, Novoukrayinka, and Novopole in the direction of Novopavlivka.
Russia caused fire damage to items in the vicinity of Novoprokopivka, Robotyne, Chervone, Hulyaipole, Novoandriivka, Zaliznychne, Kopani, Zelene Pole, Poltavka, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske, Orihiv, Stepove, and Olhivske localities in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Near Novosilka and Novodanylivka, enemy aircraft was active.
The lands around the towns of Oleksandrivka, Novoselivka, Lyubomirivka, Stepova Dolyna, Novohryhorivka, Kyselivka, Shyroke, Pervomayiske, Kalynivka, Andriyivka, Lozove, Shevchenkove, Bilousove, Zarichne, Kniazivka, Olhyne, and others.
Near Andriyivka, Davydiv Brid, Osokorivka, and Potyomkine, Russia conducted airstrikes. Russian invaders are still using rocket assaults to target civilian infrastructure in Mykolaiv.
The Russian federation’s artillery stepped up its shelling on the communities of Nikopol and Oleksiivka under the cover of the nuclear power plant’s equipment.
Russian naval group is still engaged in reconnaissance and the blockade of civilian shipping in the Black and Azov Seas.
The possibility of Russian missile attacks on infrastructure near Ukraine’s borders still exists.
Enemy losses are still severe, particularly in terms of personnel.
