The valiant Ukrainian people’s resistance to a Russian military invasion is still going on day 164.
In the directions of Volyn and Polissia, nothing has changed. The Republic of Belarus’s airspace and territory continue to threaten hostile missile and air strikes.
In the Siverskyi direction, Russia opened artillery fire close to Nova Huta in the Sumy oblast, Yanzhulivka, Mykolayivka, and Zaliznyi Mist in the Chernihiv oblast.
In the direction of Kharkiv, Russian troops did not actively engage in offensive operations. They bombarded the districts of Prudianka, Duvanka, Zolochiv, and an additional 27 Ukrainian towns with barrel and rocket artillery. Russian airstrikes were conducted close to Verkhniy Saltiv, Lebiazhe, and Husarivka.
Russian units fired barrel and jet artillery in the direction of Sloviansk, causing damage in the vicinity of the towns of Velyka Komyshuvakha, Sulihivka, Dovhenke, Dolyna, Mazanivka, Adamivka, Karnaukhivka, Kurulka, Ridne, Dibrivne, Hrushuvaha, Bohorodychne, and Maiak.
Russian forces attempted to advance toward the western edge of Bohorodychne, but they were unsuccessful.
Russian occupiers did not launch any offensive actions in the direction of Kramatorsk. Near Siversk, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Dronivka, Donetsk, Hryhorivka, Riznykivka, Mykolaivka, Spirne, Zvanivka, Pereizne, Kalenyky, Dolyna, and Vyimka, Russian artillery and tank fire was exchanged.
Russian shelling was detected in the vicinity of Bakhmut, Soledar, Zaitseve, Yakovlivka, Kodema, Yuriyivka, Bakhmutske, Berestove, Pokrovske, and Ivanhrad in the direction of Bakhmut. In the vicinity of Zaytseve, Soledar, Bahmut, Berestove, and Yakovlivka, Russian attack and army aircraft hit.
In the directions of Striapivka-Bahmutske, Pokrovske-Soledar, Pokrovske-Bahmut, Volodymyrivka-Yakovlivka, Vidrodzhennia-Vershyna, and Pokrovske-Vershyna, the Russian invaders attempted to strengthen their tactical position. Ukrainian forces resolutely repelled the invaders in all of the designated directions as they fled.
The Russia’s barrel and rocket artillery attacked the neighbourhoods of Avdiyivka, Pisky, Netaylove, Nevelske, and New York (Donetsk oblast, Ukraine) in the direction of Avdiyivka. The Russian occupants flew their assault planes close to New York (Donetsk oblast), Krasnohorivka, Pisky, and Mariyinka.
In the directions of Spartak – Avdiyivka, Vesele – Pisky, Novoselivka Druga – Krasnohorivka, Oleksandrivka – Maryinka, Kyrylivka – Pavlivka, and Prechistivka – Novomayorske, the Russian invaders attempted to breach the defences of Ukrainian soldiers by using offensive actions. Russian army suffered heavy losses from Ukrainian forces, who then drove them back.
Russia shelled areas close to Novomykhailivka, Shevchenko, Velyka Novosilka, Zaporizhia, Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka, Zelene Pole, and Charivne on the Novopavlivsky and Zaporizhzhya directions. In the towns of Temyrivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Novoandriyivka, Vilne Pole, Novosilka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, and Prechystivka, Russian airstrikes were conducted.
The Russian army is attempting to maintain the occupied positions in the direction of South Buh while preventing the Ukrainian Defense Forces from establishing the right circumstances for restarting the attack and freeing the temporarily gained area.
Russian army planes were utilized by the invaders for attacks close to Andriyivka. Russian drones actively conducted the illegal aerial surveillance of the region.
