This is the one hundred twenty-third (123rd) day of the Ukrainian heroic resistance against a Russian military invasion.
The preparation of sabotage groups and reconnaissance groups by separate units from the Russian Federation in the Volyn, Polissia and the Republic of Belrus areas for further actions against Ukraine is documented in the Siverskyi direction. The enemy’s units are located in the border regions of the Bryansk, Kursk, and Western Military Districts. Russia attacked civilian and military infrastructure close to Yanzhulivka and Khrinivka.
The enemy opened fire from tanks and artillery in the Kharkiv direction at the settlements Ruski Tyshky and Chepil, Chuhuiv and Zolochiv. It launched air strikes in the vicinity of Yavirske, Dementievka, and Zamulivka. It attempted to improve the tactical situation near the Dementiyivka settlement through an assault but it was unsuccessful. The Slovyansky direction was shelled in the districts of Nova Dmytrivka and Dibrivne. Ukrainian soldiers defeated enemy attacks in the Dolyna, Mazanivka, and Kurulka areas.
Russian troops, supported by artillery, attempts to block Lysychansk’s southern direction from Donetsk. They attacked civilian and military infrastructures in the Lysychansk and Verkhnokamyanka districts. Russian soldiers launched an air strike in the vicinity of Vovchoyarivka. The enemy reinforced the artillery group to support the offensive. The occupiers fled after an unsuccessful assault.
The Russian army used barrel and jet artillery to attack Ukrainian troops in the Vodyane, Pisky, and Mariyinka areas. It launched missile and artillery attacks at civilian infrastructure in the rear areas. It launched missile strikes against the infrastructure of Mykolayiv. With the help of army aircraft, the enemy attempted to regain control over Potemkin but was unsuccessful and withdrew.
The north-western Black Sea blockade continues. Counterintelligence measures have been intensified at checkpoints. Ukraine’s defense forces inflict losses on the enemy in all directions. Invaders are trying to stop hostilities in every way possible. Because of their refusal to return to Ukraine, a large part of the occupiers were taken from the country to restore combat capabilities. Some units had to ban personnel from leaving.
