The heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against a Russian military invasion continues on the one hundred twenty-eighth (120th) day.
There were no signs that enemy offensive groups had been formed in the Volyn or Polissia directions. The Armed Forces of Belarus continue to carry out tasks to secure the border between Ukraine and Belarus. Mobilization exercises are conducted with some regions’ military commissariats, where issues such as notification and manning are addressed.
Russia continues to strengthen the protection of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Siverskyi direction. It attacked civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv, Ruska Lozova, Pechenihy, Khrestyshche, Mospanove, Stary Saltiv, Ruski Tyshky, Pryshyb, Stari Vyrky, Adamivka, Dibrivne, Kurulka, Petrovske, Virnopillia, Mazanivka, Starykove and others. Ukrainian soldiers defeated an enemy attack near Dolyna, Bohorodychne, and forced the occupiers back.
The Russian army continues firing on the Ukrainian Defense Forces units in the Donetsk direction with artillery, jet artillery, mortars, and tanks along the contact line. To take control of the Mykolayivka and Siverskodonetsk settlements, he concentrated his efforts on Bakhmut and Siverskodonetsk. It is fixed on positions previously captured in the districts Loskutivka or Rai-Oleksandrivka. It is trying to recoup the losses. Ukrainian soldiers stopped the offensive at the southern outskirts Lysychansk and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, forcing them to retreat. The occupiers made reserves to resume the offensive. The Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy’s offensive close to Borivske. They also conducted reconnaissance by fighting in Bila Hora. The enemy continued their offensive near Rai-Oleksandrivka. Fighting continues. Near Klynove, the army aircraft of invaders struck.
Russian occupiers are trying to take control of Hirske. Mykolayivka was captured by the 1st Army Corps’ assault units. The enemy failed to win the reconnaissance battle in Vershyna. It launched air strikes in Pavlivka, Vuhledar, and Shevchenko. Near Shevchenko Ukrainian soldiers gave the occupiers an intense battle and forced them into retreat. The enemy didn’t wage active hostilities in the Avdiyivka and Zaporizhzhia areas. To prevent the transfer to other areas of reserves, the enemy fired on our troops using tanks, mortars and artillery, as well as jet artillery, in the areas of Avdiyivka and Pisky, Opytne, and Mariyinka, Hrushove, and Novopola.
Ukrainian troops resisted the enemy’s attempts to attack Mariyinka. In the South Buh direction, Russian invaders did not take any active actions. Russia used barrel and jet artillery to attack civilian infrastructure in the Dobrianka and Trudoliubivka areas. It launched an air strike against the positions of Ukrainian troops close to Kniazivka. It conducted an aerial reconnaissance of UAVs to determine changes in Ukrainian troops’ positions and adjust fire. 5 high-precision weapons carriers have been prepared to launch missile strikes against targets in Ukraine.
The Russian occupiers fear total resistance from the local population, as they don’t feel support from the residents of temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. Russian soldiers, therefore, conduct illegal searches, arrests, and imprisonments.
