It has been one hundred seventeen (117) days since the heroic resistance of the Ukrainians against a Russian military invasion began.
The Russian army continues to launch air and missile strikes against civilian buildings in Ukraine. There are no significant changes in the Volyn’, Polissia, and Siverskyi directions. Russian troops shoot urban area along the Sumy Region border in the Siverskyi direction.
Russia’s main concern in the Sloviansk direction is to hold positions. It conducted artillery bombardment in the area of the settlements at Dibrivne,Velyka Komyshuvakha, Krasnopillia, Dolyna, and Hrushuvaha. Ukrainian defenders were able to repel the enemy attack in the Bohorodychne area. The civilian infrastructure facilities of the Ustynivka-Lysychansk settlements were hit by Russia with air strikes.
Near Lysychansk, Ustynivka, and Hirsky, artillery shelling was seen on civilian infrastructure. The fight for the control of Siverodonetsk continues. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers stopped Russia’s attempts to storm territory in the area of Myrna Dolyna or Bila Hora.
Under the cover of artillery fire, the enemy attempted to operate in the Bakhmut direction. Ukrainian Defence Forces forced it to retreat. Later, the enemy tried to attack but failed. The occupiers also attacked civilian infrastructure in the settlements Bilohorivka and Berestove as well as Yakovlivka, Yakovlivka and Pokrovske. Russian soldiers launched air strikes in the vicinity of Maloryazantsevo, Bilohorivka.
The enemy didn’t take any active action in the Avdiyivka (Kurahivka), Novopavlivka, Zaporizhzhia directions. It attacked civilian infrastructure in the vicinity of Kamianka and Huliaypole. Russian troops launched air strikes against the settlements of Mali Shcherbaki and Mariyinka, Vuhledar, and Kostiantynivka.
Russian occupying force personnel have suffered significant losses and are now looking for ways to avoid future hostilities. Especially it’s seen among troops on rotations from the areas of Kherson, Mykolayiv, Popasna.
