Operational information on July 07, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The brave resistance of the Ukrainians against a Russian military invasion continues on the 134th day.

In the Volyn or Polissia directions, there were no changes in the type, composition, and condition of the actions of units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus. The threat of bomb and missile attacks from its territory is still present.

To demonstrate their presence in the Siverskyi direction the Russian army shelled areas of Vovkivka and Kindrativka along with Myropillia in the Sumy region using artillery. It also carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of Esmani, Myropillya. In the Slobozhanskyi direction, Russia continues to focus efforts on holding positions and preventing units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine from advancing deep into temporarily occupied by Russia territory. Tanks, barrels, and rocket artillery were used during the day to bombard settlements in Kharkiv region, along the contact line. All attempts by Russian troops to advance towards Sosnivka were stopped by the Ukrainian army. Russian soldiers were defeated and the Russian occupiers were forced to retreat to their earlier positions.

Russia continues to try to take control of the Luhansk territory in the east of Ukraine. In the Sloviansk direction, the Russian occupiers attempted to storm Bohorodychne again but failed to capture it.

In the vicinity of the settlements Sulyhivka and Chervone, Dolyna and Novopavlivka and Nikopol and Karnaukhivka and Adamivka and Krasnopillia and Bogorodychne and Mazanivka and Dibrivne, the enemy uses barrel and rocket artillery to cause fire damage. Near Dolyna, army aircraft and attack were used to strike. Russian occupiers shelled the areas of Maiaky, Zvanivka, Sivers’k, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Zolotarivka settlements with barrel and jet artillery. On the Serebrianka territory, Russian army’s airstrike was heard.

The settlements of Vyimka, Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Pokrovske, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bahmutske, Klynove, Vershyna, Kodema, Maiorsk, and New York (Niu-York, Donetsk Oblast) and Ivanodarivka Russian soldiers shelled using rocket jet systems and barrel artillery. Near Shumy, they used army aviation.

It is reported that mutual shelling from barrel and rocket artillery continues along the contact line in the Avdiyivka, Kurakhivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia.

The statements of the Ministry of Defense of Russia about the alleged deaths of Ukrainian soldiers cleaning up and installing Ukrainian flags at Zmiyinyi Island are false.

The Russian army keeps up to 6 high-precision weapons carriers in the Azov and Black seas. There can be as many as forty sea-based cruise missiles with the type “Caliber”.

On the territory of Ukraine, the Russian invaders continue to experience significant losses in personnel, weapons and military gear. According to information available, the Central Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia has been forced to withdraw units of the 35th separate motorized gun brigade. He is instead trying to recruit unmotivated units from the 74th separate motorized rifle brigade.

Russia provides forced mobilization of personnel in the illegally occupied territory of the Luhansk oblast. The mobilizes have poor training and inadequate protection equipment. Currently, there is a shortage of units in the Second Army Corps of the Eighth Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces. This number is approximately 8,000.
