Russian army’s attacks on civilian infrastructure
The Russian Federation, disregarding losses, continues to conduct an aggressive war. The Russian army disregards international humanitarian law, strikes and shells not only military but also civilian objects.
In total, during the day, the Russian army carried out 10 airstrikes and conducted approximately 30 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
The probability of missile and airstrikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts to fully seize the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During this day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 13 Russian attacks.

Operational situation on Ukrainian directions
- On the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant signs of Russian formations detected.
- On the Siversk and Slobodzhansk directions, Russian soldiers carried out an airstrike in the area of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, and conducted mortar and artillery shelling of the populated areas of Hremiach, Chernihiv region; Zarutske, Hlukhiv, Buniakine, Katerinivka, Obodi, Myropillia, Sumy region, as well as Basove, Buhaivka, Hoptivka, Lukyantsi, Zelene, Ternova, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatysche, Vovchansk, Tykhe, and Khatnie in the Kharkiv region.
- On the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army carried out an airstrike in the area of Kyslivka, Kharkiv region. Russian artillery and mortar shelling targeted Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
- On the Lyman direction, Russian soldiers did not conduct any offensive actions during the day. Artillery shelling affected Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Torske, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.
- On the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions west of Khromove. Vasiukivka, Pryvillia, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region were affected by Russian shelling.
- On the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops conducted offensive actions towards the settlements of Severne and Pervomaiske but were not successful. They carried out artillery shelling of the populated areas of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
- On the Marinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 7 Russian attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. At the same time, Georgiivka, Marinka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region were subjected to Russian shelling.
- On the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army shelled the populated areas of Paraskeviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Shakhtarske, and Velyka Novosilka.
- On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army continues to conduct defensive operations. It carried out airstrikes in the areas of Chervone in the Zaporizhzhia region and Zmiyivka in the Kherson region. Russian soldiers also shelled the populated areas of Vremivka, Vilne Pole, Novopil in the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Poltavka, Huliaypole, Charivne, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Sadove, Antonivka in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.
Russian occupation of medical facilities and manipulation of children
In the temporarily occupied Luhansk, Russian troops continue to convert local medical facilities for their own needs. Recently, additional beds and equipment were delivered to the Zaliznychna Hospital, where they treat wounded servicemen. Furthermore, in the same city of Luhansk, Russian soldiers handed over Maternity Hospital No. 2 to the Wagner PMC.
Russian troops cynically continue to illegally remove children from the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region. In certain settlements of the Shchastia district, they announced so-called vacations for schoolchildren in summer camps on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian aviation and artillery response
During the day, Ukrainian aviation conducted 4 strikes on Russian personnel and military equipment concentration areas, as well as 3 strikes on anti-aircraft missile complexes.
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 3 Russian UAVs of various types during the day.
Units of the missile forces and artillery struck the area of armament and military equipment concentration, destroyed 2 command points, 2 ammunition depots, and another important military target of the Russian army.
