General Staff operational report June 13, 2023 on the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The 475th day of the Russia-Ukraine War: official operational information by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 13.06.2023.

Russian army’s attacks on civilian infrastructure

The Russian Federation continues to conduct an aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it refuses to abandon plans for the complete occupation of Ukrainian territory. The Russian army continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, employing tactics of terror and striking both military and civilian targets.

Within a day, Russian troops launched another missile and air strike on Ukraine, utilizing 16 air-launched cruise missiles, the Kh-101/Kh-555, and 4 Iranian strike UAVs Shahed, targeting critical infrastructure objects in the Kharkiv region and residential buildings in Kryvyi Rih.

Through the efforts of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 11 cruise missiles and one strike drone were destroyed.

Furthermore, the Russian army carried out 29 airstrikes and approximately 20 artillery barrages using multiple rocket launch systems against Ukrainian positions and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, as critical infrastructure, residential buildings, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure have been destroyed and damaged.

The probability of missile and air strikes throughout the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting persists. Within a day, there were 22 military clashes.
