Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, Russian troops carried out 1 missile and 58 aviation strikes, as well as more than 26 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of Ukrainian military and populated areas. Unfortunately, there were casualties and injuries among children and civilians, and the port infrastructure and grain storage facilities in southern Ukraine suffered damages and destruction, along with residential buildings and other infrastructure.
The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. During the day, there were 23 military confrontations.

- In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed. There are no signs of Russia’s forming offensive groupings.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army maintains its military presence. It conducted aviation strikes in the areas of the populated settlements of Huriiv Kozachok and Pishchane in the Kharkiv region. Additionally, more than 15 populated areas, including locations northeast of Leonivka in the Chernihiv region, east of Boyaro-Lezhachiv, Ugroidy, and southeast of Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Basov, Huriiv Kozachok, Hraniv, Pishchane, Kozacha Lopan, and Hatyshche in the Kharkiv region, were shelled with mortars and artillery.
- In the Kupiansk direction, aviation strikes were recorded near Terniv, Vilshana, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. The Russian army conducted artillery and mortar shelling on Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, and Odradne in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Lyman, Yampil, Siversk, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling affected populated areas like Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
- In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled Russian attacks in the areas northwest of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, south of Ivanivske, and west of Klishchivka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Dyliivka and Predtechyne in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas were affected by Russian artillery shelling, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
- In the Avdiivka direction, under intense fire from Russian aviation and artillery, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops in the area of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted aviation strikes near Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. At the same time, it carried out artillery shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Marinka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Georgiivka, and Maksymilianivka in the Donetsk region.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian attempts at offensive actions in the area of Rivnopillia in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Russian troops carried out shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
- In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army concentrates its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian troops Russian soldiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Orikhove, and Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region. Additionally, more than 30 populated areas, including Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepnohrysk in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Kachkariivka, Kozatske in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines. They deliver artillery fire on identified Russian targets and conduct counter-battery actions.
Acts of looting and unlawful occupations by Russian military
Russian troops persist in committing acts of looting in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. In particular, in the populated settlement of Myronivskyi in the Donetsk region, since July 10, the arrival of Russian soldiers from the unit of the Russian National Guard Akhmat has been reported. They forcefully evict local civilians from their homes onto the streets and unlawfully occupy their residences. Furthermore, these mentioned representatives of Russian occupation forces are actively engaged in looting, which causes a wave of discontent among the civilian population.
At the same time, Russian troops continue to use civilian medical infrastructure in temporarily captured settlements to provide medical assistance to their injured servicemen. In the populated settlement of Radenske in the Kherson region, Russian military personnel have converted the premises of a local kindergarten into a field hospital. Dozens of injured Russian soldiers are being treated there.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
During the day, the aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted 8 strikes on areas with concentrations of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and 4 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Within the same period, Ukrainian troops destroyed 3 Russian attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type.
Units of missile forces and artillery during the day hit 4 command points, 3 anti-aircraft defense systems, 9 artillery units in firing positions, and 4 radio-electronic warfare stations of Russian military.
