Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
According to updated information, Russian troops launched a missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine within a 24-hour period, using 6 Kalibr cruise missiles and 35 Iranian Shahed-136 strike UAVs. Ukrainian Air Force units destroyed 6 Kalibr cruise missiles and 31 Russian Shahed-136 strike UAVs.
Additionally, the Russian army carried out 70 airstrikes and conducted 53 artillery shelling attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to these Russian terrorist attacks, and industrial facilities, residential buildings, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.
The probability of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. There have been 18 combat clashes within the 24-hour period.

- In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in the formation of Russian offensive groups. Identified units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are carrying out tasks in border areas adjacent to Ukraine.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army maintains a military presence. It conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 settlements, including Seredyna-Buda, Iskryskivshchyna, Stepne in the Sumy region, and Hlyboke, Volochivka and Vovchanski Khutory in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops are holding their defense steadfastly. The Russian army conducted an airstrike in the area of Kyslivka, while Novomykhailivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Petropavlivka, Holybivka, and Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by Russian soldiers.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian soldiers carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirne and Siversk in the Donetsk region. The populated areas of Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, Berestove, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, under intense Russian fire from aviation and artillery, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled attacks in the area of Bohdanivka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted airstrikes near Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Druzhba, Bila Hora, and Oleksandro-Shultyne in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Chasiv Yar, and Markove in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army carried out an airstrike in the area of Avdiivka. At the same time, it conducted artillery shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Orlivka, and Berdychiv in the Donetsk region.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army carried out shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Hryhorivka, and Maksymilianivka.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, in the areas of Rivnopillia in the Donetsk region and Novodarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions. It conducted airstrikes in the areas of Velyka Novosilka, Makarivka, and Rivnopillia in the Donetsk region. Russian troops also shelled more than 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Storozhove, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
- In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian military. It conducted an airstrike in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orikhiv, and Pyatyhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian troops also carried out artillery shelling on more than 20 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Vremivka in the Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Lobkove, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Synelnykove and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Burhunka, Sadove, Berehove, Rozlyv in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson, as well as Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. They are consolidating their positions, delivering artillery fire, and implementing counter-battery measures.
Russian troops continue to convert civilian infrastructure for their own purposes. In the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region, for example, they have converted the territory of the former city polyclinic to accommodate personnel and command of the Akhmat unit.
In the settlements of Yalta, Yurivka, and Urzuf in the Donetsk region, the territories of recreational bases such as Chervona Hvozdyka, Kosmos, and Prybiy have been completely converted into military bases with fortifications (bunkers) to accommodate personnel of the Russian army.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian army carried out 11 strikes on areas where Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 3 strikes on Russian air defense missile systems. Ukrainian military also destroyed 2 tactical-level reconnaissance UAVs.
Units of the missile forces and artillery struck 1 Russian command post, 8 artillery positions, 2 ammunition depots, and 3 Russian electronic warfare stations within the 24-hour period.
