Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, the Russian army carried out 2 missile and 28 aviation strikes, launching 35 rocket artillery barrages targeting the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, due to the Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and residential buildings as well as other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage.
The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. Over the course of the day, 22 clashes occurred.

- In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery bombardments on over 30 populated areas, including Hrinivka, Huta-Studenetska, Buchky, Hremiach of the Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Baranivka, Atynske, Stepne, Volodymyrivka of the Sumy region; and Udy, Sosnivka, Hraniv, Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Nesterne in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled attacks by Russian soldiers in the area north of Synkivka and northeast of Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region. Over 10 populated areas, including Figolivka, Zapadne, Petropavlivka, Podoly, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to Rusian artillery and mortar bombardments.
- In the Lyman direction, the Russian army conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirne and Vesele in the Donetsk region. Populated areas Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region experienced Russian artillery bombardments.
- In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly held their defense, repelling Russian attacks in the vicinity of Klishchiivka and to the northeast of Druzhba in the Donetsk region. The Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the Klishchiivka area. Over 10 populated areas, including Malynivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, and Dyliivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from Russian artillery bombardments.
- In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from Russian aviation and artillery, Ukrainian military repelled attacks by Russian troops in the Avdiivka area and southeast of Severne in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region. Populated areas Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region experienced Russian artillery bombardments.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued to hold back Russian troops’ advances in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the Krasnohorivka area of the Donetsk region. Populated areas Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviiivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to Russian artillery bombardments.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the Staromayorske area of the Donetsk region. It conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Blahodatne and Staromayorske in the Donetsk region. Populated areas Vuhledar, Odradne, Velyka Novosilka, Blahodatne, and Staromayorske in the Donetsk region experienced Russian artillery bombardments.
- In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area south of Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 15 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Novoandrivka, Piatyhatky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, were subjected to Russian artillery bombardments.
- In the Kherson direction, Russian soldiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Odradokamianka, Lvove, and Komyshany in the Kherson region. Over 20 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Respublikanets, Odradokamianka, Novotyahynka, Antonivka, and Veletenske in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson; Kutsurub and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region, experienced Russian artillery bombardments.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. They are consolidating their positions on achieved frontlines and conducting counter-battery measures.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out 10 strikes on personnel concentration areas, weapons, and military equipment, one strike on an anti-aircraft missile system, and one strike on Russian logistics hub.
Units of the missile forces and artillery during the day hit 3 command posts, 5 artillery units in firing positions, an area of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment, a radio-electronic warfare station, and another important target of the Russian army.
