Russian offensive actions and impact on civilians
During the day, the Russian army carried out 3 missile and 49 aviation strikes, conducted 36 shelling operations with rocket artillery systems against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, due to the Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
Approximately 25 clashes took place during the day.

- The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions remains unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Stepne and Kostyantynivka in the Sumy region. It conducted mortar and artillery shelling on over 20 populated areas, including Klyusy, Bleshnya, Karpovichi in the Chernihiv region; Popivka, Timofiyivka, Stukalivka in the Sumy region; and Udy, Huriv Kozachok, Odnorobivka, Strilecha, Okhrimivka in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Nadiia and south of Novoselivka in the Luhansk region. More than 10 populated areas, including Kamyanka, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kindrashivka, Holubivka, and Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to Russian artillery and mortar shelling.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Populated areas such as Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bohdanivka. More than 10 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Avdiivka direction, under intense fire from Russian aviation and artillery, Ukrainian military continue to hold back the Russian troops’ advance in the Avdiivka area. The Russian army conducted aviation strikes in the Severne area. More than 10 populated areas, including Oleksandriivka, Novokalynove, Novoselivka Persha, Avdiivka, and Sverenivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to resist Russian advance in the area of Marinka in the Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian soldiers attempted unsuccessfully to regain lost positions in the Staromykhailivka area. An aviation strike was also carried out in the same area. More than 10 populated areas, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenska, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region, were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the area of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 populated areas, including Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaipole, Piatykhatky, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Kherson direction, the Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the area of Kozatske in the Kherson region. More than 20 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Respublikanets, Chervonyi Mayak, Shliakhove, Kozatske, Antonivka, and Veletenske in the Kherson region, and Kherson; Kutsurub, Ochakiv, and Dmytrivka in the Mykolaiv region, were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
Ukrainian countermeasures
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidating their positions at the achieved lines, and conducting counter-battery measures.
During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian army carried out 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, and 2 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile complex. Ukrainian military also destroyed 7 Russian tactical UAVs of the Shahed-136 type.
Units of missile troops and artillery during the day hit 4 artillery systems in firing positions, 1 area of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentration, 1 radio electronic warfare station, and 1 communication node of the Russian army.
