Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, the Russian army conducted 1 missile strike, 49 airstrikes, and carried out 33 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there were casualties among the civilian population.
The likelihood of missile and airstrikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. There were 26 military clashes during the day.

- In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted artillery and mortar shelling on more than 20 populated areas. These areas include Halahanivka in Chernihiv Oblast, Atynske, Basivka, Rozhkovychi in Sumy Oblast, and Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Petropavlivka, and Nesterne in Kharkiv Oblast.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army experienced artillery and mortar shelling in Topoli, Kamianka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
- In the Lyman direction, populated areas Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions north and west of Klishchiivka in Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 populated areas, including Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Bila Hora in Donetsk Oblast, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian military successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops under intense fire from Russian aviation and artillery in the area of Avdiivka. Over 10 populated areas, including Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, and Novobakhmutivka in Donetsk Oblast, were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the Russian troops’ advance in the area of Marinka. The Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the area of Krasnohorivka and shelled over 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, and Hostre in Donetsk Oblast.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian soldiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Blahodatne and Staromykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. They also made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions east of Staromykhailivka. Over 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Vodiane, Blahodatne, and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk Oblast, were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian military. It conducted an aviation strike in the area of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Over 15 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Bilohirya, Orikhiv, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Kherson direction, over 10 populated areas, including Sadove, Tokariivka, Antonivka, Mykhailivka, and the city of Kherson, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions at achieved boundaries and conducting counter-battery measures.
During the day, the Armed Forces’ aviation carried out 7 strikes on the areas where Russian personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated, 1 strike on a command post, and 1 strike on an anti-aircraft missile system of Russian troops.
Units of the missile forces and artillery targeted and hit 10 artillery positions, 4 radio-electronic warfare stations, 4 command posts, 1 area of equipment and military vehicle concentration, 5 anti-aircraft defense systems, 3 areas of personnel concentration, and 2 other important Russian targets.
