The courageous Ukrainian people’s resistance against a large-scale Russian military invasion is still going strong after day 208.

The Russian Federation’s efforts are still concentrated on attempting to completely seize the Donetsk oblast, organize defense, retain the captured territory, and obstruct the Ukrainian Defence Forces’ operational activities in some regions of Ukraine. It opens fire on Ukrainian forces as they stand along the contact line, takes steps to split up its units, adds reserves, and never stops conducting illegal aerial surveillance.

Russian troops are still shelling civilian homes and infrastructure in Ukraine, breaking the rules of international humanitarian law as well as war law and tradition.

The Russian Federation has attacked objects on Ukrainian territory with more than MLRS 90 assaults in the last day alone, including three missile launches, twenty-two airstrikes, and three ground attacks. The Russian army has launched 3 additional missile attacks since the day’s start.

More than three dozen Ukrainian villages’ infrastructure was harmed by Russia. Of these, Mykolayiv, Zaporizhzhia, Soledar, Bilohiria, Novopil, Pershotravneve, Temyrivka, Sukhyi Stavok, Myroliubivka, Petrivka, Bereznehuvate, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Krasnohorivka, Stepove, and Olhivske stand out.

All around Ukraine, there is still a risk of Russian airstrikes and missile attacks.

The Russian army also used tanks, mortars, and artillery to fire in the following directions in Ukraine:

  • in the vicinity of the towns of Hoptivka, Huryiv Kozachok, Kamianka, and Kupiansk in the direction of Slobozhansk;
  • Sviatohirsk, Raihorodok, Serebrianka, and Bilohorivka in the direction of Kramatorsk;
  • Siversk, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, New York (Ukraine), Yuryivka, Rozivka, and Zaitseve in the area of Bakhmut;
    Avdiyivka, Opytne, Karlivka, Kostiantynivka, Mariyinka, and Pervomayske that are located in the Avdiyivka region;
  • Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Mali Shcherbaky, Myrne, Vilne Pole, and Vremivka are located in the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhya areas.

Russia was shelling the whole contact line in the direction of South Buh. Fire damaged more than eighteen Ukrainian communities. They include Visokopillia, Andriyivka, Bila Krynytsya, and Myroliubivka.

Russian troops continue to use unconventional methods of replenishment because of the severe lack of both human and material resources. For instance, the Russian city of Tambov sent four hundred prisoners serving jail terms for criminal offenses to support Russian units that invaded Ukraine. Russian public “Afghan soldiers” groups were tasked in the Krasnodar region with raising funds from the local populace to outfit the local battalion with winter clothing.

Ukrainian Defense Forces troops have thwarted Russian incursions on the last day near the communities of Mykolayivka Druha, Vesela Dolyna, and Bakhmut.

The Ukrainian aviation carried out twenty one attacks throughout the day; it was verified that sixteen Russian strongholds and places of Russian personnel concentration as well as five locations of anti-aircraft missile systems were struck.

More than fourteen Russian targets have been hit by the Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Ukrainian Ground Forces in the last day. 3 Russian support locations, 6 command and control points, and military equipment and personnel concentration centers were hit. 3 munitions stores, electronic warfare equipment, and air defense objects all fell into the impacted area.

The Russian army’s complete losses are being made clear.
