For 142 days Ukrainian people have been heroically resisting a Russian military invasion.
The activities of the armed force of Belarus have not changed in the Volyn’ or Polissia directions. However, in the Siverskyi direction, the enemy continues to provide an enhanced threat on the Ukrainian-Russian border. To show their presence, invaders fire periodically at Ukrainian territories in the border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy regions.
The Russian army is trying to hold the areas occupied and stop Ukrainian troops from moving towards the state border. In the vicinity of the settlements Petrivka, Slatyne, Pryshyb, Rus’ki Tyshky, Pytomnyk, Verkhniy Saltiv, Ridne, and Sosnivka, Russia used mortars, barrels, and jet artillery. The Russian operational-tactical Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was used to conduct aerial reconnaissance in the Prymorske area.
Russian troops are moving in the Sloviansk direction and trying to improve their tactical position. Artillery shelled the areas of Dibrivne, Chepilia, and Podolivka as well as Mazanivka, Krasnopillia, and Adamivka, Kurul’ka.
Russian occupiers continue firing on the Defense Forces of Ukraine units from tanks and artillery along the contact line in the direction of Donetsk. Conducted reconnaissance to identify weak points in defense of troops. Russia focuses its efforts on the Bakhmut, Novopavliv directions and tries to advance towards Soledar or Bakhmut.
Russian units are regrouping towards Kramatorsk in order to reopen the offensive in Sivers’k. Russian barrel and rocket artillery shelled Kramatorsk and Zakitne as well as other districts. Russian airstrikes were reported near Verkhnokamianske.
Russia attacked Ukrainian positions in the Bakhmut direction, particularly in the areas of Novoluhanske, Berestove, Pokrovske, Vesela Dolyna, Vesele, Maiorsk, and Vershyna. It conducted airstrikes in the vicinity of Semyhirya and Berestove, as well as the territory of Vuhlehirska power station. Ukrainian soldiers stopped Russian invaders’ attacks in the Kodema area and Bilohorivka. Russian troops also tried to capture Vershyna and Spirne but failed. They were met with stiff resistance and suffered heavy losses.
Near Bakhmutskyi, the Russian army engaged unmanned aerial vehicles. Russian troops also attempted to strengthen the air defense system for rear bases and units. They launched airstrikes in the vicinity of Kamyanka. With precise fire, Ukrainian defenders stopped the Russian invaders’ offensive near Vodiane. Russian soldiers launched a missile and aircraft attack on the Vuhledar area’s civilian infrastructure.
In the direction of South Buh, the Russian occupiers bombarded civilian and military infrastructure. They launched a missile strike on Mykolayiv as well as airstrikes in the Velyke Artakove, Olhino areas. The Russian army also conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs at tactical and operational levels. Russian soldiers continued to maintain the engineering equipment. The threat of missile strikes by Russia targeting critical infrastructure remains.
Russian propaganda continues to lie openly about the location of military units in Ukrainian schools, hospitals, and churches in order to justify their destruction of civilian objects in Ukraine.
