Ukrainians bravely resist a Russian military invasion on the 136th day.
In the Volyn’, Polissia and Sivers’kyi directions, there were no significant changes in enemy units’ activities. Russia attacked Ukrainian troops in the Sivers’kyi direction near Senkivka, Mykolayivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Esman, Oleksiyivka (Sumy Oblast).
The Russian occupiers defend the previously occupied frontiers in the Kharkiv direction. The Russian army attacked with barrel and rocket artillery, tanks, mortars the urban areas of Cherkassky Tyshky, Pyatyhirske, Prudianka, Staryi Saltiv, Shestakove, Chornohlazivka, Rubizhne, Kutuzivka, Yavirske, Ukrayinka, Stara Hnylytsya, Mykilske, Bazaliyivka, and Ruski Tyshky.
Russian troops launched artillery firing in the Sloviansk direction near Adamivka, Dibrovne, Bohorodychne, Sulyhivka and Karnauhivka. In the Kramatorsk direction, Russia attacked civilian infrastructure in the Hryhorivka and Verhnokamyansk and Kramatorsk areas. The Russian army continues to fight in the Hryhorivka area, attempting to advance with assault actions.
Bakhmut was the target of Russian shelling. It was heard near Berestove, Zaitseve and Klynove. An air strike was made near Spirne village.
The Russian occupiers attempted to take control of the Vuhlehirska power plant’s territory and increase the tactical position within the Dolomitne area by taking offensive actions. The Ukrainian soldiers refused to allow them to do so and forced them to return to their former positions.
The mutual shelling of positions along a contact line continues in the Avdiyivka, Kurahivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhia directions. In the vicinity of Mali Shcherbaky, airstrikes were carried out by Russia.
In the South Buh direction, Russian units systematic shelling of civilian and military infrastructure from barrel and rocket artillery along the contact line. There remains a further threat of Russian missile strikes on the region’s critical infrastructure. Ukrainian aviation and missile and artillery units continue to fire successfully at concentrations of manpower, military equipment of the Russian occupiers, and warehouses with ammunition. Russian troops are suffering significant losses.
