“We are pleased to watch with Mr Prime Minister [Mariusz Błaszczak – ed.] how our instructors, together with colleagues from Canada and Norway, conduct training and how quickly the Ukrainian military, very experienced tankers who came straight from the front and who only a few days ago were at the front – master the tanks,” emphasized the President of Poland.
Andrzej Duda said that Poland has already transferred 240 T-72 tanks to Ukraine and plans to transfer another part of old tanks in the near future.
“We carry out allied activities not only by providing Ukrainians with weapons and humanitarian aid but also by training Ukrainian soldiers so that they can better defend their homeland using Western equipment,” noted the Office of the Polish President.
