“According to the investigation, on August 17, at around 9:15 p.m., military of the aggressor country once again shelled a residential building in the Saltivskyy district of Kharkiv. The rocket hit a three-story building. The fire engulfed 3 entrances. 7 residents died. 20 people were injured, including a 12- one-year-old girl. The blast wave damaged nearby houses and a number of cars. There were no military formations or military equipment nearby,” the report said.
According to preliminary information, the occupiers hit Kharkiv with an “Iskander” 9M727 cruise missile.
The President of Ukraine stated that as a result of a rocket attack by occupiers on Saltivka, the dormitory building was completely destroyed.

In addition, there is information that Russian occupiers struck a dormitory in Kharkiv, where people with hearing disabilities were staying. They could not hear the air-raid alarm. Also, these people may be under the rubble and not hear the rescuers.
On August 18, 2022, it became known that Russians shelled Kharkiv once again. They hit the premises of a dormitory in the Slobidskyy district of Kharkiv. As of now, 18 are injured, and 2 of them are children. 1 person died.
