“Energodar, third and fifth neighborhoods – shelling! Information about the victims and the scale of the destruction is being clarified. The windows of neighboring houses were broken. Cars parked in the yard are on fire. Follow the rule of two walls and do not approach the windows during shelling!”
Russian propagandists are already claiming that, perhaps, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been carrying out “aimed shelling of the residential quarters of the city where the Zaporizhzhia NPP is located.”
The President’s Office emphasizes that it is occupiers who are shelling Energodar.
As of the morning on August 29, 2022, the city-state knows for sure about 10 Energodar residents who received numerous shrapnel wounds of varying degrees of severity as a result of the nighttime shelling of the residential quarters of Energodar.
Two of them were hospitalized in the intensive care unit in serious condition. It is also reported that at least 20 cars parked were destroyed and damaged.
This is how Russians “worked out” their scenario on the eve of the IAEA mission’s arrival at the Zaporizhzhia NPP in Energodar. The direct threat to the life of the civilian population does not stop terrorists,” the mayor of Energodar stressed.
