Russia shelled Sloviansk in Donetsk region, 1 civilian was killed, 25 were injured: photos, video

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Russian troops shelled a city of Sloviansk, in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine), as a result, one person was killed and twenty-five were injured on March 27, 2023.

“Another day that began with terrorism by the Russian Federation. The aggressor state shelled our Sloviansk. Unfortunately, there is a dead person and victims of various degrees of severity. All services are working on the ground. Help is being provided. Debris clearance is ongoing,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on Telegram.

Later, the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration added that Russian military hit the city center of Sloviansk with two S-300 missiles.

“At least 1 civilian was killed, and 25 were injured in Sloviansk. In addition, Druzhkivka also suffered a rocket attack – two S-300 rockets hit the local orphanage and almost completely destroyed it,” informed Pavlo Kyrylenko.

According to preliminary information, there are currently no victims in Druzhkivka but a number of buildings and residential buildings were destroyed.


UPD: 2 civilians were killed and 29 injured as of 01: 00 p.m.
