The mayor of Kramatorsk Oleksandr Honcharenko noted that Russian soldiers again shelled the city of Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) on February 1, 2023. This is the second attack on the city during the day. They shelled the 4-story residential building. As a result, from the 4th to the 1st floor of a four-story residential building within one entrance was destroyed. According to the latest data, 3 civilians were killed, and 18 were injured.

“Russian shelling of Kramatorsk. There are injured,” wrote the mayor of Kramatorsk.
According to Oleksandr Honcharenko, all relevant services are working on the ground.
Social networks report that there are people under the rubble of the destroyed building.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commented on the missile attack by Russian troops on Kramatorsk.
“Kramatorsk. Russian terrorists have hit the city with a ballistic missile leading to civilian casualties. Some people are still under the rubble. No goal other than terror. The only way to stop Russian terrorism is to defeat it. By tanks. Fighter jets. Long-range missiles,” tweeted the Ukrainian President.
Later, the press center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted that as of 7:00 a.m. on February 2, as a result of Russian shelling 3 civilians were killed, 2 persons were rescued, and 18 civilians were injured (8 of them were hospitalized).
“183 people and 18 units of equipment were involved in rescue operations, including 60 people and 11 units from the State Emergency Service,” added the press center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
