People’s deputies supported the draft law at their extraordinary session, which in particular envisages allocation of UAH 9 billion for the army until the end of 2014. Also, people’s deputies allocated UAH 2 billion for renewal of the regions in the east of Ukraine.
Batkivshchyna faction leader Serhiy Sobolev told a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“About UAH 9 billion in support of the Ukrainian Army until the year end was revised by the law adopted today. For recovery of the region in the east – about UAH 2 billion for priority measures highlighted by the law,” Sobolev said.
