The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov noted on January 18, 2023, that partners from the United States have undertaken to prepare the Ukrainian military for the use of Patriot air defense systems in ten weeks. This is more than four times faster than the minimum period for training on these air defense systems.

“Earlier, we couldn’t even dream of what partners would give us, for example, Patriot, the cost of which is a billion dollars, and the training, which is ten months, is minimal. Today, there is a decision that Ukrainian officers will be trained in ten weeks,” noted the Ukrainian Prime Minister.
In addition, the head of the Ministry of Defense assured that now representatives of more than 50 countries, which are members of the “Ramstein club”, emphasize the continuation of their support for Ukraine until the end of the war. In the end, they consider the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.
According to Oleksiy Reznikov, today’s successes of Ukrainian troops would be impossible if Kyiv did not receive significant help from Western partners. At the same time, he called the spirit and will of Ukrainians the most important factor.
